Telegram's management is going to add direct sales of goods and services to channels and groups to the messenger. Previously, sales were only available through special bots. This was reported by the Internet edition "Durov's Code" on Monday, April 19th
The publication found a new feature in the current beta versions of the messenger for Android and macOS. The option can be tested at @TestStore.
Telegram will launch direct sales of goods and services
It will be possible to pay for goods and services using third-party payment systems, for example, Sberbank, YuMoney, Tranzzo, Stripe, Click, Payme, LiqPay and Ecompay. The card data can be saved and used for future purchases. You can also leave a tip.
In December 2020, the founder of Telegram, Pavel Durov, announced that in 2021 the messenger will begin monetization by introducing paid functionality for entrepreneurs and users with advanced needs, but all current services will remain free.
He noted that all messaging services will remain ad-free.
