Washington announces a reward of 10 million dollars for information on the DarkSide hackers

US State Department spokesman Ned Price confirmed that the country's security authorities have offered a reward of $ 10 million, to anyone who provides information about the location and identities of the leaders of the DarkSide hacker group.
"The Department of State is announcing a reward of $10 million for information that will locate or locate an individual or group of individuals who hold leadership positions in a transnational criminal group using the DarkSide ransomware,"he said.
The security authorities accuse the group of carrying out the latest attack last May, on the American pipeline company "Colonial Pipeline".
The White House worked closely with Colonial Pipeline to help it recover from a tech software attack that forced the largest US fuel pipeline operator to shut down a network that supplies densely populated states in the east.
